President Ben Ali chairs commemoration ceremony on the death of Leader Habib Bourguiba
April 6, 2010: President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali chaired on Tuesday a ceremony in Monastir commemorating the tenth anniversary of the death of the late Leader, Habib Bourguiba . During the ceremony, President Ben Ali recited the Fatiha in the memory of the late Leader and laid a sheaf of flowers on his grave. A large crowd of men and women warmly greeted President Ben Ali who shook hands with a number of people before making his way into the mausoleum. The ceremony was attended by the members of the political bureau of the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD), members of the Consultative Council of the National Liberation Movement as well as by several personalities and cadres from the governorate of Monastir.
